The romantic song &ldquo;The Morning After&rdquo; by Jem Cubil and Andrea Babierra claimed the number one spot on Spotify&rsquo;s&nbsp;Philippines Viral 50&nbsp;in the evening of Valentine&rsquo;s Day, February 14, 2018.
Since its release last January 30th, the track has been gaining steadily in the top charts, debuting at #16 and rapidly climbing its way to the top at #1, two weeks after its release.
Released by Viva Records, This Thyro and Yumi composition has become a crowd favorite, partly credited to its presence in the official soundtrack of the movie &ldquo;Meet Me In St. Gallen&rdquo;, that starred Bela Padilla and Carlo Aquino. And of course, not discounting the fact that &ldquo;The Morning After&rdquo; is a catchy piece of alt-sounding pop.
This is the first career chart number one for Jem Cubil who had his start at The Voice, and Andrea Babierra, who is also part of sassy sing and dance outfit, Pop Girls.
